Wicked Winter Read-A-Thon // Day Three Updates & Challenges

Today is Day Three and the final day in the Wicked Winter Read-A-Thon. Day One and Two went well, although I did not get much reading done yesterday as I would have liked. Hopefully today will be a lot better. Below I am going to post a day Ane & Two recap and begin on day three updates. (check back throughout the day for more updates on this post). Also below the updates will be where I post my challenges I will participate in.

Below is for any mini-challenges I complete on Day Two.

Tease at Random Challenge: hosted by Clarie @Project to be Read.

For this challenge I would like you to tease me at random from your current read. All you need to do is to divide your book roughly into thirds and then randomly select two sentences from each third (so six in total) and put them together to give a good tease.

My teasers come from:

First half: 

"Let me guess. Prince Kai is actually a martian? Or no, no- he had a illegitimate child with a escort, didn't he?"

'Escort-droids can have children?"  (page 42)

Second half:

"But....that's illegal. There not supposed to be here at all. Why haven't we stopped them?" 

(page 170)

Third Half:

So what else was she hiding?

And did he dare risk finding out? (page 268)

I feel the video describes Cinder and the battle she goes through. With each heartbreaking thing that happens to her I feel this video would help her to see who is she, who she is meant to be.
(please understand I have not finished Cinder, so I do not know the ending)
