 -  He stripped and showered. He was hungry for food, but he liked keeping himself that way. The pang of starvation, and the dry yearning of thirst...these denials that were within his control always eased him.  -

But even as their desire for each other begins to overtake them, Zsadist's thirst for vengeance against Bella's tormentors drives him to the brink of madness. Now Bella must help her lover overcome the wounds of his tortured past and find a future with her

I'm Back!

Hello gang. Yes, I am back. I know it has been sometime since I have made a post. I am very sorry for that but after dealing with the loss of my BFF's brother passing away, I went through a Tornado here in Raleigh, NC where I live. It passed right over my APT where I live. Although I am fine and no serious damage was caused here, only a block away there was a family of a Mom and 4 kids and a huge tree fell into there house and killed all 4 of the children. There were so many trees down very near to where I live. It looked like a war zone. I thank God I was okay. Although I did lose my power here for almost a week and am back online and here to starting my blog going again. On a happier note I want to wish you all a wonder Easter. :) I will be posting more soon. Thanks for sticking with me.

Hello friends - Please forgive my lack of posting this week has been very sad for me. I found out today my best friend lost her only brother. He had a heart attack while on his way to driving to work to day and drove his car into a tree. A year ago May she also lost her Mom to a heart attack. I feel so sad for her. She has lost so much in so little of time and needs me right now so please dont leave me if I dont post as much as I am used to. Thanks for understanding. :) If you could keep her in your prayers. Her name is Courtney. Her Brother also lost his only daughter 3 months before he died. So sad! *tears*

--> Book Review: Firelight by Sophie Jordan <--

Title: Firelight
Author: Sophie Jordan
Number of Pages: 323
Published: Published September 7th 2010 by HarperTeen
Series: Firelight #1

GoodReads Info:

A hidden truth.
Mortal enemies.
Doomed love.
Marked as special at an early age, Jacinda knows her every move is watched. But she longs for freedom to make her own choices. When she breaks the most sacred tenet among her kind, she nearly pays with her life. Until a beautiful stranger saves her. A stranger who was sent to hunt those like her. For Jacinda is a draki—a descendant of dragons whose greatest defense is her secret ability to shift into human form.
Forced to flee into the mortal world with her family, Jacinda struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. The only bright light is Will. Gorgeous, elusive Will who stirs her inner draki to life. Although she is irresistibly drawn to him, Jacinda knows Will's dark secret: He and his family are hunters. She should avoid him at all costs. But her inner draki is slowly slipping away—if it dies she will be left as a human forever. She'll do anything to prevent that. Even if it means getting closer to her most dangerous enemy.
Mythical powers and breathtaking romance ignite in this story of a girl who defies all expectations and whose love crosses an ancient divide.

My Thoughts: (I gave this book 4 Stars)

Well first of all I love the cover of this book. So beautiful and the colors are perfect. The cover of firelight is what made me want to read the book. I was hooked on Firelight on the first page.
Jacinda who is a fire dragon shape-shifter lives in a world were her life has always been decided for her and she know these are the right things for her. After she gets in some trouble her Mom moves her and her sister away from there home land and everyone she knows.

Jacinda's mom wants nothing to ever do with them again although she is a draki as well. She has lost her draki inside her, and wants nothing more than to see her  two daughter be happy in there new city away from the pack.

Jacinda is anything but happy, she wants her draki to never die and longs to fly but cant now without being seen.
Jacinda meets will who is drawn to her and she is coming to like him as well, but she knows he is mad news. Will is a poacher along with his family. Will
Jacinda and will find a way to be together even know everyone seems to be pulling them apart.

I found this book to move fast and wanting to keep reading even I was busy with something else. The Love story between
Jacinda and Will was fun to read about and makes me so want to read what will happen next...
