Friday Reads is a huge event that goes on every Friday where we all discuss what we are reading.  From my understanding this idea originated on Twitter from @FridayReads. You use the hashtag #FridayReads to share your current read and talk with other readers/bloggers about theirs.

Here is what I am reading today:

Sweet Legacy (Medusa Girls #3) by Tera Lynn Childs
Hardcover, 384 pages
Published September 3rd 2013 by Katherine Tegen Books

The stunning conclusion of Tera Lynn Childs's Greek mythology–based Sweet Venom trilogy is perfect for teen fans of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series.

The girls cannot hesitate as they seek the location of the lost door between the realms, even as monsters and the gods of Olympus descend on San Francisco in battle-ready droves.

Greer must use her second sight to step up and prevent anything from stopping her sisters' mission, even though a god is playing with her mind. Grace wants to trust her adopted brother, Thane; but will his secret put the girls in even more danger? And Gretchen has trained her sisters to stop the monsters, but her role as a huntress comes with more responsibility than she ever imagined. What will the girls' immortal legacy be? Three teenage descendants of Medusa must unite to restore balance to the world in this action-packed series with plenty of romance.

Reason for reading:
Simple! This series ROCKS! I have been waiting so long for the next book to come out and now that it has, I am reading it. :) I am a part of Tera Lynn Childs Venom Squad (for the 2nd time) to help promote the book, so of course I want to read it as soon as it comes out.
So far, I am loving it!

What book are YOU reading this Friday?

Q:  WHAT BOOK DO YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD READ? IF YOU COULD GIFT THE ENTIRE POPULATION WITH ONE BOOK?

My Answer:

Why did I choose this book? Read my review - HERE

Here is what I am reading today:

Supernaturally by Kiersten White
Paperback (ARC), 336 pages
Published July 26th 2011 by HarperTeen

Evie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be...kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees.

But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.
So much for normal.

Reason for reading:

I have been putting off reading this book for far to long. I loved Paranormalcy and have had my ARC of Supernaturally sitting on my book shevles for to long. So I decided it was time for me to read it. :)

What are everyone reading today/this weekend? Leave me a comment - I would love to know. :) Also be sure to leave your follow friday links below as well.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Q: Activity! Who is your to-die-for book crush? What do you think they look like?

Well I have a few to die for fictional crushes but if I had to choose only 1 I would choose without a doubt:

Patch Cipriano from the Hush, Hush series.

This is what I picture Patch looking like:

*drools on keyboard* XD

Favorite Hush, Hush quote:

"Do you want to possess my body?""I want to do a lot of things to you body, but that's not one of them."- Patch And Nora (Hush Hush) / Page 35

Happy Friday everyone!

Here is what I am reading today:

Burning Blue by Paul Griffin
Hardcover, 288 pages
Published October 25th 2012 by Dial

How far would you go for love, beauty, and jealousy?

When Nicole Castro, the most beautiful girl in her wealthy New Jersey high school, is splashed with acid on the left side of her perfect face, the whole world takes notice. But quiet loner Jay Nazarro does more than that--he decides to find out who did it. Jay understands how it feels to be treated like a freak, and he also has a secret: He's a brilliant hacker. But the deeper he digs, the more danger he's in--and the more he falls for Nicole. Too bad everyone is turning into a suspect, including Nicole herself.

Award-winning author Paul Griffin has written a high-stakes, soulful mystery about the meaning--and dangers--of love and beauty.

Reason for reading:

I recently saw Burning Blue on someone else's goodreads shelf and added it my own a few weeks ago. I was super happy when I saw my local library had a copy. I love the premise of the book and so far I must say it is really good.

What are everyone reading today/this weekend? Leave me a comment - I would love to know. :)

 Who's ready for the weekend?
I know I am. Sunday I am going to my first anime convention. WOO HOO!

Q: What is a deal breaker for you in a book? For example, do you abhor love triangles? Or can’t deal with bad editing?

My Answer:  I have a few pet peeves that really turn me off about a book.

1. Very wordy, which seems to drag out the book. Just get to the point.

2. When a character is snobby, a know it all. Also when a character is whiny. Ugh! I hate that. I'm like, "Just get over it!" while reading.

3. NO ROMANCE! I don't know about you but I like books that have that "romance factor" added in. Even a little bit does the trick.
