Cover Reveal: With all my Soul by Rachel Vincent

Hello everyone!
I am SO super excited to share with you all a beautiful cover reveal for the book "With all my Soul by Rachel Vincent. This is bittersweet for me because this book series is my all time favorite and I am so very sad to see it come to a end. With all my soul is the final book in the Soul Screamers series. These books are entirely responsible to giving me back my love of reading. I picked up the first one, read it and wondered "Are there other neat books like this out there?" So, yes I am sad to see the series come to a end. I must say if you have not read this series, you SO need to! I can not stress that enough. =D

With that said, here is the final cover & book info for:

With All My Soul by Rachel Vincent

Wow, I mean WOW! Talking about saving the best for last. *MIND BLOWN!!* I was breathless when I first saw the cover. SO GORGEOUS!!!

There is no synopsis yet but I can't wait to read what will happen next. I know Rachel will blow us all away in the end.

What do you think of the cover? Are you sad to see the series come to a end?

Follow Friday (#24)

Q: Happy Father’s Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?
My Answer: Wow, that a toughie. I really am racking my brain on who to choose. A lot of times parents do not play a big role is YA novels but if I had to choose someone I would say Kaylee's Father from The Soul Screamers series. I am not sure of his name since it has been a while since I read the series but he came to mind. When he came back to Kaylee he was trying so very hard to be a good Dad and  I loved how much he loves Kaylee and is so protective of her.

Come check out this amazing series! [ Soul Screamers Series

Top Ten Tuesday (#2) + Teaser Tuesday (#23)

*[ I am going to open with a personal note, I hope that's okay. I wanted to say I am sorry for the lack of  my posts within the last couple days. My min-pin, Nikki has been very sick and I thought she was going to die yesterday. She is at the vet until she can get better. It has been a hard two days for me and I did not feel up to posting. Thank you all for being such amazing readers and sticking with me. =D ]*

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Top Ten Books I'd Like To See Made Into A Movie
  1. The Iron Fey Series:  Okay, who saw that coming?! If you know me one of my favorite book series off all time is The Iron Fey. I would love for the books to be made into a movie. I would love to see who would play Puck or Ash. Ahhhh, Ash! *swoons* XD
  2. The Soul Screams Series: These series rocks my socks! If you have not seen or read them, DO! I think the books would make a amazing movie(s).
  3. Anna and The French Kiss: Let me first say *Sigh* St. Clair! Love love love him! Although I am not sure who would be worthy enough to play him in a movie but I would so watch it!
  4. The Hex Hall Series: Again this is one my favorite book series and I think would make a awesome movie(s). I love movies about witches, I grew up adoring the movie The Craft. If you have not seen it, DO! =D
  5. Cinder: I could so see the book being made into a movie. Cinder is one my fave favorite book of this year. I just think the way this fairy tale is retold would really attract people to watch it as a movie.
  6. Scary School: This book is a middle-grade novel I reviewed on my blog a couple months ago (here) and think it would make a wonderful movie for kids. Or even a TV show. ^__^
  7. The Devouring series: OMG, these books would make a freaking scary movie(s). These books are the only books I have read that gave me nightmares - But I loved them just the same! 0_o
  8. The Girl in the Steel Corset: I have recently read the book after hearing so many great things about it and I must say it would so be a exciting and action packed movie. The steam-punk feel of the book would be really neat to see in a movie.
  9. The Word Gang: I read this novel for a review earlier this year and really enjoyed it. I would love to see the book be made into a movie. Teens would really benefit from watching it. Almost a made for the classroom movie. Remember those?
  10. Birthmarked: I would loveeee this book to be made into a movie. The whole premise behind the movie and the character's would so be awesome if made into a movie. I would see this it as soon as it came out!

Cover Reveals: YA Books // 1-10-12

Well there has been quite a few new book cover that came out recently.  So here are the ones I love and are so looking forward to reading!

In Book 5: City of Lost Souls, the Shadowhunters struggle to piece together their shattered world after a betrayal by one of their own leaves them reeling.

There is no summery on this book yet but will come out in 2012. This is the second book in the medusa series.

Wow, amazing cover and I am sooo wanting to read the 6th book in the Soul Screamers series. The Expected publication of the book is in June 2012.

Don't Close Your Eyes.
Sophie Cavanaugh is not going to let her freak of a cousin's strange psychiatric condition ruin high school for them both. Not after all the work she's put into cultivating the right look, and friends, and reputation. But then, Sophie sees something so frightening she lets out a blood-curdling scream—and finds herself stuck in a bizarre parallel world where nothing is safe and deadly creatures lurk just out of sight, waiting for her to close her eyes and sleep...forever.
Could this world be real? Or does insanity run in the family...?

In this third installment in the series that began with Forgive My Fins and Fins Are Forever, Lily will have to find a way to balance safety and justice for the mer people as well as for the humans she loves.

This is the 3rd book in the Warm Delicacy series. Expected publication: July 1st 2012

Wow, all such a amazing cover. I can tell already that 2012 will be a awesome year for YA books. So what cover do you like best? I would love to know. Personally, I love them all! ^__^

Okay so I recently read Rachel Vincent's newest Novel "If I Die" and I so feel in love with Tod. If you have read this series you know that Tod is a Reaper (one of many) and in the books he has been sweet on Kaylee. If you know Tod you know how adorable, sweet, and funny he is. I so love that he is such a gentlemen. Never made Kaylee do anything she did not want to do. Let me say you won't find many men is this world like Tod. He is such a gentle soul. I knew right away in the book "If I die" that Tod was becoming one my favorite characters. He is the total opposite of his brother Nash. If you read his back-story you may feel so bad for what happen to him - how he died. (I did) When I read this, I was in tears. Tod is so selfless, kind-hearted and lovable. He makes my heart melt. Oh, and his looks aren't bad too. With his blue eyes, and blonde curly locks. But his true beauty is with in his heart and soul. Tod is always wanting to help people out and would (and did) gave his soul to help Kaylee. Such a selfless sacrifice for someone you love so dearly.  If Tod were real I would so love to be his girlfriend.  He has such a passionate, and tender demeanor. With the added plus he always is trying to crack a joke, or make Kaylee laugh and that is such a plus in my book.  I love a guy who can make me laugh. Laughter heals the Soul! So, Yes this weeks Book Boyfriend is Tod Hudson.  My dreamy, adorable, devoted Reaper. Tod Husdon! <3

       Tod Hudson Stats:
I picture Tod looking like this:

  • Curly blonde hair.
  • Baby Blue Eyes.
  • He is a GRIM REAPER
  • He can teleport wherever he wants!
  • He delivers pizza on the side. (YUM!)
  • He's excellent at spying!
  • He's funny and sarcastic. (One of his best feature's)

Here are some Tod quotes from the Soul Screamers Books:

“So, 'reaper' is really just a nice word for 'covert pervert?' Is that what you're saying?”  (Book - Reaper)

“So could we please not mob the three-thousand-plus-year-old reaper like tweens at a boy-band concert?” (Book - My Soul To Save)

“Like I'm going to pass up an opportunity to smack your cousin.”  (Book - My Soul To Keep)

“So,would you say I’m closer to a zombie or a vampire? I gotta know—are my parts going to rot and fall off, or am I forever frozen in youthful perfection?”

“Now if you’ll excuse me, Death waits for no man. Except me.”
