After reading Hush, Hush and Crescendo I became strangely draw to Patch. As the Male Hero of this series he is dark, incredible handsome, dead sexy and simple a mystery waiting to be uncovered. Patch draws you in and keeps you wanting more. What more do you want for a fallen angel?! I have always been the kind of person who love a little mystery in a man and Patch is everything a dream man for me would be. I could see myself laying on Cloud nine with this flawless, beautiful man. Patch always knows the right words even when he has to push you away for your own good. I picture Patch look like this:

Here are some quotes from the book's Hush, Hush and Crescendo.

"“You smell good, too,” said Patch
“It’s called a shower.” I was staring straight ahead. When he didn’t answer, I turned sideways. “Soap. Shampoo. Hot water.”
“Naked. I know the drill.”
- Patch And Nora(Hush, Hush) / Page 63

"Hang on, did you just call me Angel?" I asked.
"If I did?"
"I don't like it."
He grinned. "It stays, Angel."
- Patch And Nora(Hush, Hush) / Page 76

“If you can't feel, why did you kiss me? Because I feel it here, in my heart. I haven't lost the ability to feel emotion.
- Patch And Nora (Hush Hush)Luv This Quote. So Sweet / Page 314

"Do you want to possess my body?"
"I want to do a lot of things to you body, but that's not one of them."
- Patch And Nora (Hush Hush) / Page 35

"Let's be honest, Nora. You got it bad for me" His eyes held a lot of depth."And I've got it bad for you."
-Patch [to Nora] (Hush Hush)
"Tacos?"
"Tacos?" I echoed.
This see to amuse him. "Tomatoes, lettuce, cheese."
"I know what a taco is!"
-Patch and Nora (Hush Hush)  / Page 121

GoodReads Info:

Zara and her friends knew they hadn't solved the pixie problem for good. Far from it. The king's needs grow deeper every day he's stuck in captivity, while his control over his people gets weaker. It's made him vulnerable. And now there's a new king in town.

A turf war is imminent, since the new pixie king, Astley, is moving in quickly. Nick nearly killed him in the woods on day one, but Zara came to his rescue. Astley swears that he and Zara are destined to be together, that he's one of the good guys. Nick isn't buying it, though Zara isn't as sure -- despite herself, she wants to trust the new king. But it's a lot more than her relationship with Nick that is at stake. It's her life -- and his.

My Thoughts: (I gave this book 4 Stars)

Captivate is the second book in the Need series. Need left us where Zara found out that he real Dad is a fairy King and Zara and her friends trapped the evil pixie away so they would not do anymore hard to there people and town. Nick her new boyfriend is no dog, but a amazing sexy were-wolf. In Captivate, Zara meets a new Pixie King who only has eyes for her. Astley wants Zara to be more than a friend but his queen. I found myself liking Astley. I believe her truly has good intention with Zara. Although she does not anything to be with him. Zara is deeply in love with Nick. Astley is doing all he can to help Zara trust him and form a bond, but how can she when Zara and her friends hate Pixie and want nothing but them all to disappear. Although I am a huge fan of Nick I found myself liking Astley. So is he good or evil... Zara does not know what to believe until during a fight between good and evil "something" bad happens to Nick which could and will change Zara's world again, and she will find anyway to help Nick....even if that means becoming something she has been fighting against since she first came to Maine...

I really loved this book and suggest anyone who likes to read books on faries will love this series. I enjoyed Captivate and Carrie Jones is an amazing storyteller. A fun and fast read. I have read the last book in the series and will do a review for it soon.

Then, as she and her uncle are about to unveil their hot vampire-themed restaurant, a brutal murder leaves them scrambling for a chef. Can Quincie transform their new hire into a culinary Dark Lord before opening night? Can he wow the crowd in his fake fangs, cheap cape, and red contact lenses — or is there more to this earnest face than meets the eye? As human and preternatural forces clash, a deadly love triangle forms, and the line between predator and prey begins to blur. Who’s playing whom? And how long can Quincie play along before she loses everything? TANTALIZE marks Cynthia Leitich Smith’s delicious debut as a preeminent author of dark fantasy.

My Thoughts: (I gave this book 3 Stars)

Okay so I read this book about a month ago and just now getting around to doing this review. I was not sure what to expect with this book but I decided to read it. I can say it is not bad but not the best I have read. I like to storyline but I felt like I needed to walk away from the book for a bit maybe it would "wow" me later. I did enjoy reading it but the book just did not draw me in and hook me to reading it like a lot of other books I have read. So Quincie takes over her family restaurant when their former cook and friend is killed in the restaurant one night. She is worried about finding another cook to take his place and make there restaurant they way they like it... A Vampire Themed restaurant.  Little do Quincie and her friend know he is a real Vampire and befriending her to not only take over the restaurant but her as well. Her boyfriend which is a hybrid-werewolf seems to know the truth, but will he be to late to tell Quincie? You will have to read and find out. I would say to anyone who like Vamp books to give Tantalize a go. The book is not bad, but just not one that I would rave about. I do like the storyline, not dull at all. It was a fun read, and I will read book two. :)

GoodReads Info:

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

My Thoughts: (I gave this book 5 Stars)

So I read this book a few weeks ago and just now writing this review.  Okay, I rarely say this but this may have been one of the best books I have read in a while. It started out a bit slow and as a reader you are just thrown into Calla and her packs lives. I was not sure how to find my way in the start of this remarkable book but once you do you will never want it to end. So Calla is a wolf who can shift at will, no waiting for a full moon. Calla is betroth to Ren. She is fine with this because she has always known Ren and the ways of there world. Until she meets Shay Doran while saving him from a bear.  Shay becomes the new boy in the school Calla attends, and soon they both find themselves falling for each other. Calla starts to question her world/laws and if she is meant to be with Ren.  Sexy, daredevil and cocky Ren, the alpha wolf of another pack, so by their union, its really important to unify both packs. So what does Shay mean? trouble, trouble, trouble…. In the story I struggled a LOT deciding if Calla should stay with Ren or Shay, but in the end I am glad who she has chosen. I did felt really BAD for Ren. It was as if, even though he and Calla were meant to be together, she never gave him a chance at love. I guess when one finds love they know nothing of wrong and right.  There are twist and tuns in this amazing book and I never knew what would happen next. Would Calla choose Shay and betray her pack and laws? Like the saying "All you need is Love". But will there love stand the test of time? I felt like this was a new and fun way to tell the classic Romeo and Juliet story, but but different...what will happen next? I guess I will have to wait until the next one. I know there some holes in my review about this book, but I do not want to giveaway more than I should.  Andrea Cremer is a awesome writer and know hold to tell a love story. Oh, and the cover of this book is soooo very pretty. I love all of the purple and glitter. A MUST read for anyone who likes  paranormal romance novels and wants to fall in love with Call, Ren and Shay and what lies head.
