Top Ten of 2014 - Day 4: Best Book Boyfriends Of 2014

Welcome to Day Four! CHRISTMAS!!!!!
Today's Top Ten is Best Book Boyfriends of 2014!

Today's list is my favorite one, Book Boyfriends. I am so excited to share with you all who we have chosen. Hillary and I once again will be splitting the list between us, 5 each. Enjoy and see you tomorrow!

Best Book Boyfriends of 2014  -

  • Beckie's Top 5 Book Boyfriends (in order of favorite)

1.
Roth from White Hot Kiss!
Who say that coming?!

WARNING! May cause fainting or/and drooling. (among other things, hehe) =D
I swear, I want this man's babies! Oops, did I say that out loud?! *blushes*

2.

*swoons* This bad a$$ holy hotness comes in at number two. Cole is a SexGOD! Need I say more?!

3.
Malachi from Guards of the Shadowlands series

Coming in at number 3, this sexy as sin man makes my heart soar and my knees weak. Malachi would do anything including risking his life for the ones he loves.

4.

Although not a bad boy, Finn take the number 4 spot. From the first time I read about Flinn in Born Wicked he held a special place in my heart. He's honest, caring, understanding, and so much more. He loves with his whole heart and can totally give me the warm fuzzies.

 5.
Cole from the Everneath series

Last but not least, Cole takes the final spot. A total bad boy turned good. Half the time I wanted to smack the crap out of him, and half the time I wanted to hug and kiss him. Sadly, in the end Cole "doesn't make it" - spoiler (to see copy the white spot with your mouse) but he will forever hold place in my heart.

  • Hillary's Top 5 Book Boyfriends
1.

2.
Adrian from Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead

3.
Micah from The Art of Lainey by Paula Stokes

4.
Braden from On The Fence by Kasie West

5.

Q: Activity! Who is your to-die-for book crush? What do you think they look like?

Well I have a few to die for fictional crushes but if I had to choose only 1 I would choose without a doubt:

Patch Cipriano from the Hush, Hush series.

This is what I picture Patch looking like:

*drools on keyboard* XD

Favorite Hush, Hush quote:

"Do you want to possess my body?""I want to do a lot of things to you body, but that's not one of them."- Patch And Nora (Hush Hush) / Page 35

Happy Friday everyone!

Friday reads is a huge event that goes on every Friday where we all discuss what we are reading.  From my understanding this idea originated on Twitter from @FridayReads. You use the hashtag #FridayReads to share your current read and talk with other readers/bloggers about theirs.

Here is what I am reading today:

Burning Blue by Paul Griffin
Hardcover, 288 pages
Published October 25th 2012 by Dial

How far would you go for love, beauty, and jealousy?

When Nicole Castro, the most beautiful girl in her wealthy New Jersey high school, is splashed with acid on the left side of her perfect face, the whole world takes notice. But quiet loner Jay Nazarro does more than that--he decides to find out who did it. Jay understands how it feels to be treated like a freak, and he also has a secret: He's a brilliant hacker. But the deeper he digs, the more danger he's in--and the more he falls for Nicole. Too bad everyone is turning into a suspect, including Nicole herself.

Award-winning author Paul Griffin has written a high-stakes, soulful mystery about the meaning--and dangers--of love and beauty.

Reason for reading:

I recently saw Burning Blue on someone else's goodreads shelf and added it my own a few weeks ago. I was super happy when I saw my local library had a copy. I love the premise of the book and so far I must say it is really good.

What are everyone reading today/this weekend? Leave me a comment - I would love to know. :)

 Who's ready for the weekend?
I know I am. Sunday I am going to my first anime convention. WOO HOO!

Okay so I recently read Rachel Vincent's newest Novel "If I Die" and I so feel in love with Tod. If you have read this series you know that Tod is a Reaper (one of many) and in the books he has been sweet on Kaylee. If you know Tod you know how adorable, sweet, and funny he is. I so love that he is such a gentlemen. Never made Kaylee do anything she did not want to do. Let me say you won't find many men is this world like Tod. He is such a gentle soul. I knew right away in the book "If I die" that Tod was becoming one my favorite characters. He is the total opposite of his brother Nash. If you read his back-story you may feel so bad for what happen to him - how he died. (I did) When I read this, I was in tears. Tod is so selfless, kind-hearted and lovable. He makes my heart melt. Oh, and his looks aren't bad too. With his blue eyes, and blonde curly locks. But his true beauty is with in his heart and soul. Tod is always wanting to help people out and would (and did) gave his soul to help Kaylee. Such a selfless sacrifice for someone you love so dearly.  If Tod were real I would so love to be his girlfriend.  He has such a passionate, and tender demeanor. With the added plus he always is trying to crack a joke, or make Kaylee laugh and that is such a plus in my book.  I love a guy who can make me laugh. Laughter heals the Soul! So, Yes this weeks Book Boyfriend is Tod Hudson.  My dreamy, adorable, devoted Reaper. Tod Husdon! <3

       Tod Hudson Stats:
I picture Tod looking like this:

  • Curly blonde hair.
  • Baby Blue Eyes.
  • He is a GRIM REAPER
  • He can teleport wherever he wants!
  • He delivers pizza on the side. (YUM!)
  • He's excellent at spying!
  • He's funny and sarcastic. (One of his best feature's)

Here are some Tod quotes from the Soul Screamers Books:

“So, 'reaper' is really just a nice word for 'covert pervert?' Is that what you're saying?”  (Book - Reaper)

“So could we please not mob the three-thousand-plus-year-old reaper like tweens at a boy-band concert?” (Book - My Soul To Save)

“Like I'm going to pass up an opportunity to smack your cousin.”  (Book - My Soul To Keep)

“So,would you say I’m closer to a zombie or a vampire? I gotta know—are my parts going to rot and fall off, or am I forever frozen in youthful perfection?”

“Now if you’ll excuse me, Death waits for no man. Except me.”

Okay, so if you have read the "Iron Fey" series you know who this weeks Book Boyfriend is. Yes, the lovable, funny, and sweet - Robin Goodfellow. Better know as PUCK! Puck is one of my very favorite characters from the books and why would I like him to be my book boyfriend....? Well the answer is simple. PUCK rox! He is funny -always tries to lighten the mood in the scenes from the books. He has such a sweet and caring Nature and you feel like Puck would either be a great friend to have or a love interest. Well and judging from the way that Julia Kagawa describes his looks, he would be so sexy. I love the red hair on guys, so more if it is spiked. Puck was always there for Meghan in the books but I felt ever so sad for him when I found out how much he loves Meghan more than a friend. I wonder will Puck ever find love? Well if he was my boyfriend the answer would be easy.... YES! Don't get me wrong I LOVE Prince Ash (as some of you know from me 2nd book boyfriend --> Info here - But it would be hard not to fall for such a sweet, caring and funny guy. I am a sucker for a guy who can make me laugh... aren't you? So all and all Robin Goodfellow is this weeks BB and what's not to love?

I picture Puck looking like this:

Here are some Puck quotes from the Iron Fey books:

"Oh, we're playing nice now? Shall we have tea first? Brew up a nice pot of kiss-my-ass?
-Puck"
( The Iron King )

"Me? Die? Didn't they tell you, princess? I'm Robin Goodfellow."
( The Iron King )

"Ladies and Felines," he stated grandly, grasping the doorknob, "Welcome to Tir Na Nog. Land of endless winter and shitloads of snow."
 (  The Iron King )

"Oh, look at that, he's heard of me. My fame grows." -Puck"
( The Iron Queen)

"It's not everyday I get to tell someone I was attacked by a pair of flying reading glasses. Ow"  - Puck
( The Iron Queen )

"I have always loved you, princess" Robin Goodfellow promised, his green eyes shining in the darkness. "I always will. And I'll take whatever you can give me." - Puck
( The Iron Queen )

The "The Iron Fey series is written by Julia Kagawa.
