I've asked author Carissa Andrews to tell me 10 things she could never live without. Here were her answers.

1. My husband. He's my rock. 
2. My kids. Though they may not know it, they are my source of joy (even on the stressful days!).
3. My best friend and beta reader. Even when the world is going to hell in a hand basket around me, I know she's got my back.
4. My imagination. Let's face it, where would any author be without this?
5. My laptop. To capture the imagination before it escapes. 
6. Coffee. Because it keeps my brain active, and on the rare occasion, tastes good. ;)
7. Workouts. I become a crotchety woman without these. The more strenuous the better. I need to know how far I can push myself. 
8. Hugs and cuddles. No words can ever express all the love that comes from hugs and cuddles. I cannot live without them from my husband and kids. Nor can I ever get enough! 
9. Great conversations. I love thought provoking conversations. Things that engage my mind and liven a room. 
10. Meditation. It's my source of stillness, allowing me to make sense of all the extra chatter.
