Teaser Tuesday: #12 // Dearly, Departed

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

The Rules:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) or so “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title &  author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.

This week's teaser comes from Dearly, Departed written by Lia Habel

I returned to my bike and took off again, this time headed slightly northwest. My men stepped back as I drove past, pointing their weapons at the sky and saluting. I didn't pay much attention.

I did run over one of the dead zombies on the ground. though, for good measure.

(From the POV of Wolfe - Page 77)

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesday post, or share your two 'teasers' in a comment here (if you don't have a blog). Thanks!

  1. I absolutely love that cover!
My teaser this week is from ‘Turnabout's Fair Play’ by Kaye Dacus.

  2. When a friend forwarded me an email from you to let me know about the GFC thing I noticed that it is from a post of another blog that I follow. Exact wording and you left her links at the bottom. What's up with that?

  3. Liza - I know I did not do the right thing and I forgot to delete the links but I said I was sorry to hear. This is not a life and death thing. I did not go to her site and copy a review she wrote and pass it is my own. It was just a e-mail and let me tell you life is to short to be mad at something as trivial as this.
